Our sympathy to the family of Joan. We were glad to get
to know her and have her as a classmate with the school
consolidation. Speaking for all of us, it brings sadness
to think of the loss. It is good to know about her raising
a family, and her work at the hospital. As school students,
we thought we would live forever. How fast time goes.
God bless and bring comfort to Joan's loved ones.

G’ma Joanie. I will miss our daily conversations via Scrabble. I will miss the way you were able to keep Joe Lewis on his toes and go head to head with him in witty banter. You were a wonderfully sassy lady and will miss you dearly. RIP.
